MIEE Explores YiJet Factory: Pioneering New Cooperation Opportunities

Recently, the team from MIEE (Shanghai) Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. visited YiJet New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. with international clients. The two parties exchanged views on automobile global expansion and deepened cooperation.

Located in Shiyan Economic Development Zone, YiJet New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. ranks as Hubei Province's top and China's second-leading new energy vehicle (NEV) exporter. Established through the strategic alliance of three automotive giants - Dongfeng, Renault, and Nissan - the company specializes in NEV design, R&D, production, sales, and import/export operations. It manufactures NEVs under renowned brands including Renault, Venucia, Fengguang, Fengshen, Fengxing, Nano, and Dacia, achieving a localization rate of 92% for components that demonstrates exceptional localized production capabilities and technical expertise. In China's NEV export sector, YiJet maintains its prominent position as the national runner-up and Hubei's undisputed leader.

YiJet's pure electric vehicles, developed with French Renault technology, feature a standard ten-layer battery safety protection design. These Shiyan-manufactured NEVs have gained popularity not only in domestic markets but also in European countries like France and Italy. Latest statistics show that in 2023, YiJet successfully exported 54,000 NEVs to European markets, earning widespread international recognition.

During the facility tour, MIEE's overseas clients marveled at YiJet's modern production line that assembles a complete NEV every 150 seconds. This remarkable production speed and exquisite craftsmanship not only represent the world-class level of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China" but also provide strong support for MIEE's automotive export business development.

Through in-depth discussions on global expansion strategies, both parties reached multiple consensus agreements. The international clients gained firsthand experience of YiJet's joint venture factory operated by Dongfeng, Renault, and Nissan, deepening their understanding of MIEE's automotive industrial base in Hubei. Subsequently, the three parties will actively explore diversified cooperation models to advance collaborative development.
